Biodynamic agriculture and traditions
Our vineyard gathers 11 varieties of vines:

White: Rolle, Clairette, Muscat, Sémillon

Rosé: Tibouren, Cinsault, Grenache

Red: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache.

“Of Alsatian origins, I fell in love with the Provence and the outstanding terroir of the Colle Noire au Pradet.”

Born in a family of wine-growers, Jannick Utard took the reins of La Navicelle in 2006. Ever since then, this connoisseur of sweet and fruity red wines brought back this gorgeous domain on the path of excellence. Supporter of the biodynamical agriculture, Jannick Utard was awarded the Bio label in 2014 and is working hard toward the Demeter label.

Manual grape-harvest and biodynamical agriculture

The wealth of our soils and our environment marks our wine with a “Navicelle” taste.
The vine uses “Cordon de Royat à palissage haut”. This technique maximizes the photosynthesis. The domain complies with the principles of biodynamical agriculture.

Biodynamical agriculture involves giving life back to the soils in order to strengthen the vine’s natural defenses against the farming predators.
